Good news! As a nonprofit, independent news organization, Right Down Euclid is starting to grow and expand its coverage. Since being a Clevelander is a broad stroke of a brush and has created a beautiful community in the process. Right Down Euclid wants to give that community a reliable source for news and coverage and will only hire people with the same mentality and beliefs.

Our readership and local organizations need continued support to reach that goal. It will be a process, and plenty is going on behind the scenes to help grow as a publication. In the meantime, contribute to Right Down Euclid today if you can. It cannot be stressed enough that as a nonprofit, we aren’t owned by multi-million dollar media conglomerates that don’t have the same level of interest in Cleveland as we do. If a handful of you commit $10 monthly today, it can boost our goals to grow considerably!

Right Down Euclid has some new faces joining our staff today. Thanks to existing support from our readership and community partners, we have added several new writers! All of our new faces have a sports background but will provide a new level of depth and understanding to our community and what makes it so great. Without further ado…

Alec has been an independent journalist since his freshman year of high school. While he has experience covering sports of all levels, his passion lies in mid-major basketball and Division III hoops.

Alec is the Cleveland State men’s basketball beat reporter Horizone Roundtable. He looks forward to expanding his coverage to RDE while bringing in some Division III expertise and mid-major Division I coverage.

Alec will cover Cleveland State athletics and NEO’s collegiate sports scene for Right Down Euclid!

Matt Fagan

Matt’s respect for independent journalism comes from my passion for telling stories. At my core, he’s a writer and a Cleveland native that loves covering the Cavaliers for King James Gospel. He’s also working on a few fiction novels!

Kristopher Jacoby

Kristopher will attend college this fall at the University of Mount Union and wants to pursue a career in sports journalism.
