Hey there, Cleveland!
As you all know, your Cleveland Cavaliers are headed to the playoffs for the first time in half a decade! Thankfully, if things hold, the Cavs will host their opponent for the first two games when things open up. But, when Cleveland hits the road to continue the series, Right Down Euclid wants to be there covering it all, and the only way it can happen is with your support.
Travel right now is expensive. Hotels, local transit, airfare, food and everything in between add up quickly. Unlike my colleagues and competitors, I don’t have the financial backing of major corporations or a million-dollar startup. So, whatever work I undertake on the road with the Cavaliers comes out of my pocket, and that money isn’t there unless readers like you support me.
Reader support made my trip to Salt Lake City to cover Donovan Mitchell’s return possible. It’s what’s making my trip to Brooklyn, a possible playoff opponent, to watch the Cavaliers play the Nets twice happen as well. But, when the time comes to cover Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers in the playoffs, I need your support now, not just in the future.
I cannot stress enough that everything produced at Right Down Euclid is because of the financial backing from our community. It doesn’t have to be much, mind you. But anything you can provide now and when the playoffs roll around will make coverage feel authentic and unique to Right Down Euclid.
If you can contribute, you’ll forever have my thanks, and hopefully, you will see the appreciation every time a new story from Right Down Euclid hits your feed! I also want to send you some of our new merchandise when it’s available to thank you personally. I collaborated with local artist Kayla Hay to produce some fresh, indie merch and I’m excited to share it all with you when it’s ready! Here’s a small preview to whet your whistle:
If you commit $10 monthly to Right Down Euclid, I’ll contact you soon to coordinate sending you some merch! Thank you all for your continued support and for making Right Down Euclid awesome!
