Hello everyone and welcome to Right Down Euclid – a partnership I’m undertaking with Meta’s Bulletin platform to bring you the latest news, stories, and happenings throughout the greater Cleveland area. My coverage of the Cavaliers, at least in written form, will be based here. I’ll also be covering the Browns, the Indians, and any other major sports team to join Cleveland too. I’ll also be sharing stories, whether it’s food, music, art, anything, from the community as well. Wherever there is a story being told that should come to light I’ll make sure to be the one providing the coverage it deserves.
For those of you who have followed my work in the past, thank you for joining me once again. From the bottom of my heart, your continued support is beyond appreciated and means more than you’ll ever truly know. I tell everyone I am incredibly blessed to be in the position I’m in covering my favorite team in the world. To be able to cover all of Cleveland sports on top of that now is mind-boggling to me.
But, if this is your first time coming across me and my work, let me give you a little bit of background information on myself.
Raised and now based in Cleveland, I have had the pleasure of calling northeast Ohio home for the last 18 years. I studied biomedical engineering at the University of Akron but my passion has always been writing ever since I joined my high school’s paper. I especially loved covering sports and my first article was even about then-Cleveland guard Delonte West!
After college, I worked as a medical engineer, with my last stop being with a local medical company but was never truly happy at my position. I was let go by said company and it was the single greatest thing anyone has ever done for me. Instead of being down on myself, I channeled my frustration and disdain toward my prior situation to make sure I'd never have to be in a situation like that again. So, if they're reading this right now (and they know who they are) all I have to say is thank you. You lost out on the single greatest thing to ever happen to your company and now I'm channeling that same energy I consistently gave you into something I genuinely love.
With that said, I have been writing, covering the Cavaliers and NBA as a whole, for the last six years for publications such as Forbes Magazine and online sites like SB Nation’s Fear the Sword. You also may have heard my voice five days a week on Locked on Cavs, part of the Locked on Podcast Network.
Cleveland is and always will be home. It’s where my family, loved ones, and roots are all firmly planted. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be and that’s why it’s also my passion when it comes to my writing. That’s what led to me partnering with Meta to launch Right Down Euclid – which is an homage to the legendary former play-by-play voice of the Cavaliers, and my childhood idol, Fred McLeod.
This is a new era for Cleveland and a new era for me. A new job that will be filled with ups and downs, just like Cleveland will experience. Cleveland will enjoy success and endure failure. I want to be there every step of the way to share with you the journey.
Seriously. You get to be part of this journey even more than before. The beauty of this partnership with Facebook is that I can interact directly with my audience to hear what they like and dislike about my stories and topics they would like to see covered at greater length. I want to be able to make the best content possible and with your help, we can make that happen together.
I've written several articles already for Right Down Euclid and there will be plenty more to come. But, if you want a sample of what I've been working on as of late, here are some direct links:

- Wide receiver depth is a major question for the Cleveland Browns heading into training camp
- The Cleveland Cavaliers add NFTs to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Public Art Program
- Should the Cleveland Cavaliers trade Jarrett Allen?
- The Cleveland Cavaliers need to buy out Kevin Love's contract

- The Cleveland Cavaliers take steps in the right direction on the night of the 2021 NBA Draft
I also am 100% fully independent as well. That means that your support financially will be able to keep this enterprise running and allow me to change the way Cleveland is covered forever at Right Down Euclid. If you are a fan of my work or want to try out being a premium member, I'd encourage you to check out some of my subscriber-exclusive work. There's a free, seven-day trial that comes with any subscription and you will get insider content that a regular reader cannot.
There's also plenty more to read so please check it all out. I'd love to hear your thoughts and what you'd like to see covered going forward.
It’s a tired but true cliche that loyalty runs deep with Cleveland fans all over the world and I promise to give you all 100 percent in everything that I write. I hope to continue to build upon that loyalty with you because none of this is possible without your support.
That’s why I promise, no matter what, I will strive to serve you, the reader, to the best of my ability. My approach will stay the same no matter the amount of success or failure Cleveland sees because that’s what journalism requires. I will be fair, honest and critical when needed. I work hard to produce balanced reporting and insightful analysis. I look for interesting stories about the community and everything surrounding it.
I hope you will come along for the ride and join by subscribing to my email newsletter as well. You'll get everything I write on here delivered directly to your inbox and my goal is to publish content two to three times a week.
