Throughout most of the offseason, it felt like it was inevitable that the Cleveland Browns would take a wide receiver with their first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Last season Cleveland's passing attack struggled mightily on a game-to-game basis. A lot of that had to do with Baker Mayfield being banged up with a laundry list of injuries. But, the fact that the Browns had no reliable pass catchers to work with Mayfield and his limitations also hamstrung Cleveland as well.
